I see you in everything and it makes me fall apart, I see you in everything including the most tattered remains of my heart, I see you in the sunlight that blacks out behind the window, I see you in the snowfall that won’t let winter go, I see you in the softness of a rose petals hand, I see you in every single flower that dots this broken land, I see you in the water when I expect to see my own face, I see you in my favorite clothing, I see you in every lace, I see you in the moonlight, that wishes it could come back home, I see you in the stars above, all alone with no place left to go, I see you in darkness, I see you in the bright, I see you in every wretched color crossing over the world like a rainbow in flight. I see your lips I see your hands, I see you in the beach, in every grain of sand, I see your beautiful eyes, I see your name written in the cracks in the street, I taste you with the vanilla, I smell you with the peach, I hear your voice in a birds song, I feel your touch with the wind and wish that you’d been by my side all along, and it makes me forget… that I’m supposed to move on.
